Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November in 1966. The model is and an Irish actor. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as an actress and Bond model on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she appeared in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody was named as one of the 12 most promising new Actors from 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody had just turned 18 years old at the time she was cast in the role as a Bond girl. She is still the youngest Bond girl to date. The year 1987 was the time Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she portrayed IRA Member Siobhan Donovan. Doody played an unseen role as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias as she appeared in his film of a dream, the 1987 adaptation of The Secret Garden. Doody played Sapsorrow in an episode of Jim Henson's fantasy show The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The year 1988 was the first time she played alongside Pierce Brosnan on the movie Taffin. The most memorable role to date was as Austrian Nazi sympathizer and archaeologist Doctor Elsa Schneider opposite Harrison Ford in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody was in the film alongside Sean Connery, who played Indy's father. Doody starred alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries the British mini-series that was inspired by Hitler Diaries. Following her move to Hollywood, Doody became a star. She went on as Flannery Charlie Sheen's agent, as well as girlfriend in Major League II. She had been chosen as the replacement for Cybill Shepherd who was L'Oreal's first spokeswoman. Doody was a part of the 2002 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine played her in a ceremony in recognition of an award. In 2004, she starred alongside Patrick Swayze as a television adaptation of King Solomon's Mines. However, the project was ultimately canceled. Pam Jefferson was her character in the E4 comedy Beaver Falls for two seasons. In 2014, she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way.
